MEET THE AUTHOR
LaKeisha Grimes Fletcher is a best seller author & an award winning poet who is also a devoted wife, mother, a world traveler, entrepreneur, gardener, a dedicated yoga instructor, and transformative life coach & healing leader. In 2024, Lakeisha released her first book, “Rediscovering The Goddess - Journaling Through My Journey to Redefine Me” and in 2025, her newest e-book, "Adjust, Adapt, Ascend" was released.
As a community leader in the DMV area, LaKeisha volunteers regularly and serves as a mentor to the youth. Lakeisha received her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Tennessee State University (Nashville TN) and received her master’s degree in Educational Psychology from Cappella University.
LaKeisha speaks to diverse audiences throughout the country and lives in Washington DC with her family and two dogs, Levi and Juneau.
